Sazal Kumer Hazra is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Fiber@Home Global Ltd., Bangladesh's largest private International Terrestrial Cable (ITC) and International Internet Gateway (IIG) operator. With over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and ICT industries, he has held significant leadership positions, including CEO, CTO, Project Director, and Strategy Director, working with global giants like Grameenphone, Telenor, Nokia & Mango across Bangladesh, India, Thailand, and Myanmar.

As a visionary leader, Mr. Hazra spear headed several groundbreaking initiatives,such as Grameenphone's 3G launch and Telenor India's 4G rollout, which set benchmarks in the industry. His entrepreneurial achievements include co-founding Dingi Technologies Ltd., a two-time national ICT award-winning company. His leadership ensured Grameenphone achieved the lowest infrastructure costs within the Telenor group globally.

Mr. Hazra earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from BUET and an MBA from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Dhaka University. His strategic insight, technological expertise, and dedication to innovation position him as a key figure in advancing Bangladesh’s telecommunications and ICT sectors.

Moshiur Rahman

Chief Operating Officer, COO

Lt. Cdr. Md. Moshiur Rahman (Retd.) is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Fiber@Home Global Ltd., bringing over 20 years of experience in telecommunications, ICT, and defense. He plays a key role in driving the company's operational excellence, ensuring Business Growth, customer satisfaction, and long-term strategic growth.

In his journey with Fiber@Home Global Ltd., he has held significant roles, including Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Global Business, where he successfully expanded the client base, fostered international partnerships, and introduced innovative strategies to enhance Business Sustainability. Before transitioning to the corporate sector, Lt. Cdr. Rahman had a distinguished career in the Bangladesh Navy, contributing to critical projects in weapons modernization, international defense collaborations, and advanced technical operations. His leadership extended to Mango Teleservices Ltd., where he led the planning and execution of international terrestrial cable networks, driving both operational and strategic achievements.

Mr. Rahman holds a Master’s in Telecommunication Engineering and an MBA in Operations Management from American International University-Bangladesh,along with a BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from BUET. His extensive expertise, coupled with his dedication to operational efficiency and technological innovation, positions him as a pivotal leader in shaping the future of telecommunications in Bangladesh.

Sumon Ahmed Sabir

Technology Advisor

Sumon Ahmed Sabir is a visionary leader and an influential figure in the telecommunications and technology sectors, with over 20 years of expertise in designing, deploying, and optimizing high-performance telecommunication networks. Currently, he serves as the Technical Advisor of Fiber@Home Global Ltd and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Fiber@Home Ltd, where he drives technological and strategic initiatives to meet the demands of modern digital infrastructure.

Prior to joining Fiber@Home in 2012, Sumon held significant roles in the telecommunications industry, including serving as Managing Director of BDCOM forfive and a half years and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at BDCOM for six years. His leadership at BDCOM established his reputation as an expert in network operations,management, and innovation.

In addition to his corporate achievements, Sumon actively contributes to the regional and global technical community. He is an Executive Council Member of APNIC and a Board of Trustees Member for the Bangladesh Internet Exchange Limited (BDIX), Bangladesh Network Operators Group (BDNOG), and the Dhaka Chapter of ISOC Bangladesh. He also serves as a Core Committee Member of South Asian Network Operators Group (SANOG) and was the President of the Internet Service Provider Association of Bangladesh (ISPAB) for over a decade.From 2016 to 2018, he was a MAG Member of the Internet Governance Forum (IGF).

Mr. Simon Sohel Baroi is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Fiber@Home Global Ltd., a leading telecommunications service provider in Bangladesh. With over 15years of experience in network engineering and infrastructure development, he has been instrumental in advancing the company's technological capabilities. Mr. Baroi's expertise encompasses the design and deployment of extensive network infrastructures, with a particular focus on long-distance cables, Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM), optical transport systems, and routing technologies. He has played a pivotal role in building the first international terrestrial cable system between India and Bangladesh, significantly enhancing the country's international connectivity.

Beyond his technical contributions, Mr. Baroi is actively involved in the global internet community. He participates in various Network Operator Groups (NOGs)and Regional Internet Registries (RIRs), including bdNOG, SANOG, and APRICOT,contributing to policy development and community engagement. Mr. Baroi holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and a Master of Business Administration in Economics from American International University-Bangladesh. His academic background, combined with his extensive industry experience, underscores his commitment to advancing the telecommunications sector in Bangladesh.
